Event-mode networking for ACC at Hilton Charlotte Uptown
ACC Football Kickoff and ACC Basketball Tipoff put coaches, players, media, and attendees on the hotel network at the same time. PazNetworks prepares and supports the network for each event, and has been brought back for every ACC event at the property since 2024.

The challenge
ACC Football Kickoff is the marquee summer event at Hilton Charlotte Uptown. For four days in July, attendee and media demand peaks at the same moments: sessions, press availabilities, and broadcasts. A captive portal that stalls or an access point that saturates is visible to everyone in the room.
The hotel needed the network verified and tuned before attendees arrived, and watched while they were there.

The result
ACC Football Kickoff 2025 ran with 1,079 concurrent users and zero unplanned outages. PazNetworks has supported ACC Football Kickoff in 2024, 2025, and 2026 and ACC Basketball Tipoff in 2024 and 2025, so each event starts from a network we already know rather than a cold start.
